Mubbashir Ali

While many security writers describe attacks, Mubbashir Ali has spent seventeen years defending against them. As a Head of IT Operations, he runs the unglamorous, mission-critical work that keeps systems alive: multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure; Linux fleets hardened line by line; vulnerability scans with OpenVAS and Nessus that turn into real remediation, not just reports.

His route here ran through the deep end of telecom and infrastructure engineering — server and network deployments in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan, a billing-system architecture in Saudi Arabia, disaster-recovery planning across geo-segregated datacenters. Somewhere in those 24/7 on-call years, security stopped being one task among many and became the throughline. He is now a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH v12), an AWS Solutions Architect, and a Red Hat Certified Engineer, fluent in everything from SIEM tuning to DevSecOps pipelines.

As Oreaxe's co-founder, Mubbashir is its technical conscience. When a post tells you to harden a service or read a vulnerability scan, he is the one making sure the advice would survive contact with a real network. He works in Urdu, Pashto, and English — and prefers his security recommendations the way he prefers his systems: tested, not assumed.
